What Is A CCK Affiliate?
An Affiliate church or organization is a partner that shares the core values and mission of the Churches of Christ the King network and desires to collaborate on specific projects or initiatives. Bound together by shared interest and covenant agreement, Affiliates maintain their autonomy and identity while benefiting from the resources, expertise, and network of CCK.
Here are four aspects of an Affiliate:
Partnerships
Affiliates engage in strategic projects, initiatives, and partnerships with CCK to achieve our shared goals.
Memo of Understanding (MOUs)
Where applicable, we connect through informal covenant agreements that outline the scope and terms of collaboration between CCK and Affiliates.
Ministry Collaborations
Affiliates work with CCK to launch and sustain meaningful and fruitful ministry collaborations.
Resource Sharing
Affiliates benefit by gaining access to CCK’s resources, expertise, and network.
Who Can Become an Affiliate?
The Churches of Christ the King network welcomes a diverse range of churches and organizations as Affiliates, including:
• Local churches of various denominations dedicated to effective ministry among the poor.
• Para-church ministries focused on specific areas of service, aligned with the CCK vision and strategy.
• Non-profit organizations working to address various conditions and issues consistent with Kingdom-oriented ends
• Educational institutions committed to Christian values
• Businesses that align with CCK’s mission and values
Key Elements of an Affiliate
Here are six key elements that define an Affiliate of the Churches of Christ the King network:
Shared Values
A commitment to the core values of CCK, including biblical authority, evangelism, making disciples, and demonstrating hospitality, generosity and justice among the broken.
Mission Alignment
A desire to collaborate on projects and initiatives that align with CCK’s mission of advancing the Kingdom of God.
Autonomy
Operating in good faith and covenant agreement, maintaining our own identity, governance, and financial independence.
Collaboration
A willingness to actively participate in defined, specific collaborative projects and initiatives with CCK and other Affiliates.
Resource Sharing
A commitment to sharing resources, expertise, and ideas with the CCK network.
Mutual Benefit
A desire to create mutually beneficial partnerships in practical endeavors that strengthens both the Affiliate and the CCK network.
